Defending Sexual Abuse of Child Cases

Sex Crimes Against Children are one of the most, if not the most, difficult cases to defend. The odds are typically stacked against your client simply due to the nature of the allegations. These cases are never easy for anyone involved. Our firm is dedicated to defending our clients constitutionally protected right to counsel, a fair jury, and a fair trial. Individuals charged with these allegations should exercise their right to remain silent and their right to legal counsel.

This week our firm closed a case that was indicted on a 2 count indictment of a 3(g) Continuous Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency to a Child by Contact; a first degree felony with a range of punishment of 25 years to life imprisonment and a second decree felony with a range of punishment of 2 years to 20 years. The attorney, after a diligent preparation for trial, together with a phenomenal investigative team, was able to secure the State to abandon the first degree count in the indictment and plea our client to 7 years on a second degree felony. Wins come in more ways than the obvious; this was a great win.

If you or someone you know has been charged with a crime of this magnitude remain silent, ask for an attorney, and call The Law Office of Armando A Nunez.
